When I was a kid in the 1960s, this was the fabulous Blue Hill Diner. Now, the chrome is painted over and it is a small part of Lou's Deli, which is a big produce store and delicatessen. But, over the door by the exit, the diner plaque still exists. It says Mountain View (the manufacturer), Serial # 514. Too bad the Blue Hill ended up this way, but it is a testament to its sturdiness that it still has a function.
[The manufacturer's plaque is known as a "tag." See http://www.roadsidefans.com/diner-faqs. - Editor, 3/9/20]

Comments : Got a hoagie from Lous yesterday to eat during the Super Bowl. It was really good! The roll is the key to a good hoagie, and it had a really good roll.
