Frank's sold large and small household appliances in the late fifties, early sixties, in this section that was on the border of two neighborhoods, Andalusia to the south and Cornwells Heights to the north. Frank's also did electrical and other types of contracting. As the attached image of a letterhead shows, this was before there were street addresses in Bensalem Township. Also, the phone number is for a party line. In the early seventies there was an adult bookstore in these premises, but local opposition, including that from the nearby convent of Mother Katherine Drexel, led to its closing.
