Frederick Wiseman's cult classic documentary film, Northeast High (1968), was filmed here. Growing up in the Philadelphia area, I had heard about this film, and that a lot of people would like to have seen it but a potential defamation suit was settled by an agreement that it would never be shown near Philadelphia. I believe it has since been shown in Philly, but I'm not sure. Maybe somebody can clarify for us.
