This screened in pavilion on the Bush River had the best hard shell crabs I have ever eaten. It closed several years ago. I heard that the younger generation did not want to take over the business and the land is now condos. Too bad for crab lovers.

Comments : Ive posted a clipping from an Elaine Tait article in the Philadelphia Inquirer from, Im guessing, the early 90s [5/5/96, p. S6 - Edit.]. It gives one an idea of what Gablers rustic charm. The crab house is on the left, and the bathrooms are in the building with the giant crabs sign on it.
