Bruce Springsteen was inspired to write Seaside Bar Song immediately after seeing Bo Diddley play here. I heard this yesterday on E-Street Radio in a replay of the 10-23-12 John Paul Jones Arena show. I'm not sure whether I caught all of the onstage banter.
