Tons of great performers appeared at this coffee house, 1964-1981, most notably (perhaps) Bruce Springsteen. Springsteen played here several times, and a few of the concerts were broadcast live on WMMR, giving bootleggers a field day. I was only here once, to see Johnny's Dance Band. The audience sat in old school desks, and the menu had food that was really healthy for the time, like yogurt and granola, with waitresses coming to your desk to serve you. It was a very intimate setting. There is some good stuff on it on the Web.
