KYW-TV had a small studio in the basement of this building where The Mike Douglas Show broadcasted from 8/30/65 until 7/31/72. The guests were unbelievable. Martin Luther King Jr. on 11/2/67. John and Yoko Lennon from 2/14 to 2/18/72. Anyone who was anybody in that time period appeared. I noted some musical favorites of mine, ex., 9/9/65 Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs, 9/13/65 Roy Clark, 11/3/65 The Supremes and 12/2/65 Peter, Paul and Mary.
