Billy Penn's Hat Again Highest Point in Philly? - Yes!

Under the old, unofficial Billy Penn Hat Rule, no building in Philadelphia could be higher than the hat on the statue of William Penn on top of City Hall. The arrival of taller buildings brought superstitions about why Philly sports teams were not winning championships. Then the Phillies won in 2008, supposedly after a small statue of Penn was epoxied to the top of Comcast Center, the current tallest building in the city. Afterward, the statue was stolen. But it is back up there, according to Clark DeLeon's column in today's Philadelphia Inquirer, at p. C3. So, a Philly team should be winning a championship before long.
