There is a bronze marker on the facade here. According to the New York Times, 1/26/14, at Metro p. 2, it was placed long ago by the Saint George Catholic War Veterans Post No. 401, a local Ukranian-American veterans organization which then owned the building, later ceding it to the St. George Ukranian Catholic Church down the block. The plaque commeorates the 180 people from the block who served in World War II.
