Once-obscured African American Cemetery Is Here

At least a dozen African Americans were buried here in the 1800s, including a Civil War soldier. The lot was abandoned and overgrown, until Evan Welby cleaned it up as part of his Eagle Scout project. See the Philadelphia Inquirer, 1/2/17 at B1, 6.
