About

Park Memorializes Kurt Cobain Near His Childhood Home

This park is near the childhood residence (which is on Cyber Plaque) of the late Kurt Kobain of grunge supergroup Nirvana. It has some modest memorial plaques and a guitar statue. Mr. Cobain spent time under the bridge here, along the Wishkah River. Cobain claimed to have slept under it, according to the wonderful Web page, http://www.aberdeen-museum.org/kurt.htm.
