Indy Driver George Doc MacKenzie's Home?

About

Indy Driver George Doc MacKenzie's Home?

There is documentation on the Web that this was once the home of an olde-time doctor, Doc MacKenzie. There is also documentation that George Doc MacKenzie, 1906-1936, a race car driver who died from a crash at Indy, was from Eddington and although he came from a family of physicians, he never finished medical school himself because he pursued racing instead. Does anyone know whether this is the house where he grew up?

Comments : Yes this was Doc s childhood home, and he continued to live there into his early twenties...although he wasnt there much since he was off racing and roaming around the world in the off season. Endeavors such as gold mining in Canada...building the Golden Gate bridge and the Empire State Building
