This seafood store is arguably the best place for take-out steamed Maryland Blue Claw Crabs, aka hard shell crabs, in Philly. (American Crab on Route One is a contender, but it is actually just north of the city, in Trevose.) Seasonings are mild or hot, and I like them hot. There are other seafood items and salads here, and you can purchase fried seafood. Prices are very reasonable. All orders must be paid by credit card ($10 minimum), except fried food may be paid for in cash. The place is not fancy- it's a crab shack. The address on my receipt says 4806 Belfield Avenue, but that does not line up with Google Maps. The address above was found on the Web.
