This had been the home of the Penn Valley Hobby Center for many years, until recently. The property was sold at auction and someone is redeveloping the building. Recently (as of this writing), a tombstone was dug up in the back yard during excavation. The police and local historians investigated, and found that it belonged to a family who once lived here, and was an early stone that had been replaced by a better one in a cemetery, and the original was probably buried here out of respect. The decedent was Mabel May Lauchman, May 11, 1882 to April 28, 1895.
