Archie Bell and the Drells played a concert at the fire hall here on 6/29/68, at a time when their Tighten Up was the #1 record in the country. The opening act was the wonderful Lancaster County band, Rick and the Rivals. (I found a recent address for the fire company on the Web. It could have moved its quarters or its banquet hall over the years. If someone has better information, please comment below.)
