Water Buffalo, an allegedly racial incident, occurred here.

From the sixth floor of this dormitory on Jan. 13, 1993, early in the morning, an Israeli-born student, Eden Jacobowitz, yelled down at a group of African American women who he claims were too noisy, calling them water buffalo. It caused an uproar that has been written about for years. Was it racist? That's been hotly debated. I won't go into the details, just Google it, there is a lot on it.
