Kentile Floors sign is/was here

Kentile Floors moved here in 1949, and the factory here that made items such as asbestos shingles is no longer operating. Its huge sign is a community landmark, and it was about to be demolished, and preservationists have been protesting to save it. See The New York Times, 6/15/14, beginning at Metro p. 1. It has been reported on the Web that word just came in that the sign is being dismantled, to be reassembled elsewhere.
