Historical Buildings at Lincoln University to be Demolished?

Lincoln University has four buildings constructed between 1865 and 1891, eleven built between 1866 and 1931, and several others erected after 1930 that are being considered for demolition because of costly upkeep. Azikiwe-Nkrumah Hall was built in 1865. It is named after Lincoln graduates who became presidents of African nations. There is a groundswell of alumni and preservationists who want to protect the old buildings. This information is from the Philadelphia Inquirer, 6/25/14, at p. A3.
