Bala Theater - last Egyptian-style cinema in Delaware Valley
This is the last Egyptian-style, or exotic-style theater of any type, in the Delaware Valley, according to an article in yesterday's Philadelphia Inquirer, also found at http://www.philly.com/philly/news/20141211_Long-simmering_rivalry_keeps_Bala_Theatre_screens_dark.html. It is presently closed during litigation, and preservationists hope it endures.
