John Waters Had Pink Flamingos Premier Party Here

John Waters and Divine had a Pink Flamingos release party here, across from the TLA Theater where it was shown, because a bartender here, Elizabeth Coffey, appeared in the film. I saw this in an interview by A.D. Amorosi in the City Paper, 11/29/12, at 18, and I also found information on it in the City Paper online from 11/3/10, in an article by Jonathan Valania. The latter article also said that the name of Lickety Split restaurant, while a double entendre, is from a James Brown lyric.
