There are fugitive slaves buried in unmarked graves at the cemetery near here, at the Upper Dublin Friends Meeting at 1506 Fort Washington Avenue (see Cyber Plaque at that address), according to an article by Annette John-Hall in the Philadelphia Inquirer, 12/14/12, at p. B1. People are working to get an historical plaque for the cemetery. The farmhouse for the original estate, which included the Friends Meeting property before it was divided, was a stop on the Underground Railroad, when it was the Atkinson Farm. The farmhouse is now the Upper Dublin School District Administration Building at 1580 Fort Washington Avenue.
