Abandoned African American Cemetery in Marple Township, PA

There is an old African American cemetery here in need of preservation. Civil War veterans are buried in it. It was connected with a church that was called the Union A.M.E. Church of Marple, which moved to Olive Street in Media, PA, as the Trinity U.A.M.E. There is a movement to clean it up. This information is from the Philadelphia Inquirer, 6/12/15, at pp. B1, 2, in an article called Paying a Cemetery Respects, by Kristin E. Holmes. There is a little bit on the Web about the cemetery, for ex., at http://articles.philly.com/1994-06-12/news/25833145_1_blue-route-black-family-george-atkinson, which also talks about the Hayti neighborhood comprised of African Americans. If anyone has a more precise address, please comment below.
