Arthur Freitag had a small German bakery here in 1890. See the Philadelphia Inquirer, 1/27/22, at p. B4, "Strange Bread Fellows," by Amy S. Rosenberg. Descendents of Mr. Freitag now are partners in the new Formica Freitag Bakery in Atlantic City, NJ. The article says 247 Kaighns Avenue, which appears to now be 247 Dr. Charles Brimm Boulevard.
