Perhaps the most famous album was David Bowie's Young Americans, on which Luther Vandross sang background. Early in the morning of 11/25/74, Bruce Springsteen visited Bowie to hear how the cover of his song by Bowie, It's Hard To Be A Saint In The City, was coming. Bowie and Springsteen conversed, but Springsteen did not stay long enough to hear his song.
