Angela Mao, the female Bruce Lee, owns this restaurant.

Angela Mao, aka Lady Kung Fu and the Female Bruce Lee, starred in more than 30 kung fu movies in Hong Kong and Taiwan, and was the first female kung fu star. She then disappeared. She was discovered quietly running restaurants in New York, including this Taiwanese one. This information is from the New York Times, 11/6/16, Metro pp. 1, 6 (http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/06/nyregion/searching-for-lady-kung-fu.html?_r=0). The article names other eateries she owns, but the only one I could verify as still open is New Mei Hua, 133 Roosevelt Ave., Flushing, NY 11354.
