Wild Turkey Living in Battery Park

Today's New York Times has a story on Turkeys at p. B4. It mentions Zelda, a hen turkey who has lived in Battery Park since about 2003, and who survived Hurricane Sandy perched in a tree. Named for F. Scott Fitzgerald's wife (once found wandering Battery PArk during a bout of mental illness), Zelda may have been seen as far north as Greenwich Village. Like her literary predecessor, she always seems to be startling groups of onlookers.
