This property was sold by Gene Muchnick recently, according to multiple reports. It had most recently been restaurants, but for many years it was Nathan Muchnick's. The Icepack column in the 4/10/14 Philadelphia City Paper says Muchnick’s use to be the go-to spot (other than Zounds) for stylus arm replacements and Broadway soundtracks. I remember stopping in in the late 80s, early 90s, I think, but I don't remember ever buying anything there.
