Bruce Springsteen stopped into the Monmouth Diner which had been here to reminisce with Jimmy Mavroleon (formerly Leon), whose parents owned the place. They discussed baseball memories, and some feel that Jimmy is the pitcher portrayed in the Springsteen song, Glory Days. See the wonderful Bruce, by Peter Ames Carlin, at p. 15, f.n. 5.
