Comments : There is a short story in todays Philadelphia Inquirer on page B2 saying that the church is close to demolition, but there is a court battle to spare it. ... From reading on the Web I think that perhaps St. John Neuman was not baptised here, but did help consecrate this church.

Comments : There is an article in the Philadelphia Inquirer, 6/10/2008, that says that the famous kite experiment took place on 6/12/1752, and there is a plaque marking the site at St. Stephens Episcopal Church at 10th and Ludlow Streets.

Comments : There is an article in yesterdays Philadelphia Inquirer, at B1, B5, by Inga Saffran saying that a court has granted a temporary reprieve of the demolition of this building.
