Banca D'Italia's second location was here at the turn of the last century, when 7th Street was a bankers row. It served the Italian immigrant community. Its first location was at 727 South Seventh (also on Cyber Plaque). This information is from Inga Saffron's column in the Philadelphia Inquirer, 2/22/15, at p. H2. Someone posting online had a relative living in the building (upstairs?) at the time, see http://www.italiangenealogy.com/forum/off-topic/21603.
