Columnist Calrk DeLeon wrote in the 11/15/15 Philadelphia Inquirer (p. C2) of the 1985 Inquirer/Daily News strike, and how he and a cohort furtively climbed onto the Pep Boys roof across the street (Inquirer was at 400 N. Broad) and affixed striker posters to the Manny, Moe and Jack figures. From what I can tell from the article, Pep Boys was in this building, North side, at the time. The building is now a telecommunications center, the Philadelphia PHL-401 Center.
