The Buckmans, who own the nearby Spring Mountain Ski Area, have renovated this inn, which had been vacant and vandalized for a couple of years, for a January 2012 opening. It was built in 1925 by Morris Carl. It had been a summer resort for people from Philadelphia in the age of the railroad. Its chef will be Michael Kenney, who was a private chef for Will Smith and for three members of Aerosmith.
