Comments : It was 82 years this past Saturday that the first drive in opened on June 6, 1933, in Camden, NJ by Richard Hollingshead showing Wife Beware. Our present drive in (originally called Route 45 Drive In) opened on June 2, 1946, showing Roy Rogers in Utah by our parents, William (Becky) and Alice Beck. My dad liked westerns and showed a lot of them back then.
