During the seventies, someone went around Lower Bucks County, PA, painting God Lies on bridges. A few weeks after God Lies appeared, someone would add a v to create God Lives. A couple of weeks later, the V would be painted over, and it would go on and on. The God Lies writer would sometimes add God promised me a good job after God Lies, and these would soon be painted over, and then God promised me a good job would be painted over the cover-up, and so on. The sparring writers were very active under Street Road (PA 132) where Bristol Pike (US 13) goes under it. There may still be a few of these tags left. I saw one a few years ago, and I think it was on Mill Road under I-95 in Bensalem, but I don't remember exactly.
