In the Maine Antique Digest (MAD), Nov. 2012, at p. 25-C, there is a report that Heritage Auctions, Memphis, on 8/14/12, sold a bottle from tetracycline prescribed for Elvis for $6,875. MAD reports that the 1974 order was by Dr. George Nichopoulus, and the pharmacist was Jack Kirsch. It is reported on the Web that Dr. Nichopoulus had his office at 1734 Madison Avenue, and probably hand-delivered drugs to Elvis, and the doctor was part of the drug-abuse problem that Elvis had.
