I recall an article in Philadelphia Magazine, maybe 25-30 years ago, on secrets of Philadelphia's City Hall, and one was that there were blind wild cats living in subbasements below the building, around the subway and other tunnels. The tale was that the feral cats were usually in the dark and because of that became at least nearly blind after several generations. I find this implausible. Does anyone have any information on this story?
